Terry Hanson has been in business since 1969 when he became an award winning college coach in soccer
and baseball. That background vaulted him into a 40 year career as a sports executive in front office posts as well as positions
with Turner Broadcasting, PGA Tour and Raycom Sports. He started Hanson Enterprises, a sports marketing and consulting company
in 1994.
Hanson's involvement with the John Boy & Billy Big Show dates back to the program
becoming one of the first clients for Hanson Enterprises in the mid 1990s. Over the years, the two companies have worked closely
together promoting the business side of the radio operation. Initially, Hanson consulted in contract negotiations, overall
company management, and served as a frequent on-air guest for sports and current events. In 2007 Hanson became a full-time
on-air personality on the Big Show and joined the morning ensemble, but still retains some corporate off-air responsibilities.
He has also continued to operate Hanson Enterprises.
